About the position

The Claims Administrative Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the claims branch offices by ensuring that essential administrative functions operate smoothly. This position involves direct interaction with customers and medical providers, both over the phone and in person, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support the claims branch offices with essential administrative functions.
  • Interact with customers and medical providers by phone or in person when applicable.
  • Ensure smooth operation of administrative tasks within the claims department.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher.
  • Minimum of one year of administrative or clerical support experience, or one year of post-secondary education.
  • Proficiency using office equipment.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly switch duties.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Customer service and follow-up skills.
