Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze claims related to personal, casualty, or property loss or damages.
- Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, and other parties involved in the claims process.
- Determine the extent of liability for claims and resolve issues accordingly.
- Utilize analytical skills to assess information and make informed decisions regarding claims.
- Manage conflicts and mediate disputes between individuals and groups as necessary.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to pass a state adjuster's licensing exam.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to claim sites as required.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
