About The Position
Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking an experienced and motivated Field Investigator professional to join our team. This position is essential in investigating, evaluating, and determining the appropriate disposition of all types of claims arising from the Company's business. The role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as you will be providing assistance to agents, insured individuals, and other stakeholders throughout the claims handling process until resolution. You will be expected to meet with various individuals involved in claims, which may require you to work outside of the office environment. In addition to your investigative duties, you will have an increased role as a trainer and resource for branch associates within the Claims Department. This aspect of the position emphasizes the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members. You will analyze and investigate claims to identify any issues that may warrant further investigation, ensuring that all claims are handled with the utmost diligence and professionalism.
