About the position

The Claims Operations Coordinator at Ohio Farmers Insurance Company is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Claims Department, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and providing technical support to customers. This role involves administrative tasks such as data compilation and report preparation, while also serving as a Subject Matter Expert on claims processes and programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operation, management, and organization of programs and processes related to claims and compliance reporting.
• Complete jurisdictional monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for claims, collaborating with internal resources for accurate reporting.
• Support the Process Leader in developing and maintaining processes, programs, and vendor relationships, recommending improvements as needed.
• Manage customer and internal partner experiences related to claims processes, serving as a primary contact for marketing claims protocols.
• Gather, organize, and analyze claims data to assist in process management and report creation, communicating results to leadership.
• Perform administrative duties for the Claims Department, including scheduling meetings, preparing recaps, and coordinating training.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in Insurance Claims or a related field.
• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience.
