As a Claims Processor at Prime Therapeutics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that claims are processed accurately and in a timely manner. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to a mission that helps people access the medicine they need to feel better and live well. Your responsibilities will include adjudicating claims and adjustments, resolving claims edits and suspended claims, and maintaining and updating the necessary reference materials to ensure accurate claims processing. You will also provide backup support to other team members as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment that values teamwork and shared success. In this fast-paced and dynamic role, you will be expected to utilize your skills effectively, including the ability to quickly operate a 10-key machine and familiarity with ICD-9 codes and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT). Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential as you navigate the complexities of claims processing in accordance with established policies and contractual agreements with customers and providers.
