Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and handle assigned claims across multiple jurisdictions, including initial analysis and drafting coverage letters.
• Partner with internal and external counsel to set and pursue effective litigation strategies for claims in litigation.
• Coordinate and manage communications with internal colleagues and key external stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer service.
• Ensure all documentation is present in the claim file and that Claims Handler Guidelines are followed.
• Manage expenses through thoughtful expense management and claims best practices.
• Produce internal reporting in support of best practices and reserving guidelines.
• Identify, monitor, and report on emerging liability and coverage trends.
