Lee Electrical Construction, LLC is seeking experienced Class A & B Linemen for overhead distribution work. The role involves installation, maintenance, and operation of energized facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational practices. Candidates will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and constructing distribution and transmission lines, while also directing and training lower-grade employees.

  • Perform installation, maintenance, operation, removal, rearrangement, and inspection of energized facilities.
  • Comply with safety rules and report unsafe conditions.
  • Operate line switches and locate and repair faults.
  • Change line and transformer taps and phase out parallel circuits.
  • Construct and maintain de-energized or energized distribution or transmission lines.
  • Direct the work of others and train lower-grade employees.
  • Assist employees of equal or higher classification.
  • Perform maintenance duties of a Groundman to a Class B Lineman.
  • Test and operate overhead electrical distribution, transmission, and substation equipment without direct supervision.
  • Communicate with the general public and property owners.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL or obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Must be trainable in CPR and First Aid.
  • Must have physical strength and stamina to perform required duties.
  • Must complete in-person Safety Training, DOT background check, and DOT drug screen.
  • 3-4 years of linework experience required.
  • Must understand electrical terms used in line work.
  • Must provide personal tools and a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Experience with hot line work and using hot line tools.
  • Familiarity with electric distribution layouts and sectionalizing equipment.
