About the position
As a Class A CDL Truck Driver at Corrugated Logistics, you will be responsible for operating commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe and efficient manner. The role requires a commitment to performance, stability, dependability, and honesty. You will be expected to adhere to all federal and state regulations, including those set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT). This position involves driving long distances, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining a clean driving record. You will also be required to complete a thorough DOT application, which includes providing a seven-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and reflecting all periods of employment, unemployment, self-employment, and education over the past ten years. All activities in the last three years must be verifiable, and you must meet or exceed the medical standards of the DOT, which includes passing a physical exam and drug test administered by a company-approved facility. In addition to driving responsibilities, you will be expected to present a clean and professional appearance at all times. Successful completion of the Corrugated Logistics road test is mandatory. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) safely and efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Complete and submit DOT applications accurately and completely.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Pass a physical exam and drug test as required by DOT standards.
- Successfully complete the Corrugated Logistics road test.
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL without airbrake restrictions from the state of permanent domicile.
- Three (3) years of verifiable experience operating a CMV, including 12 months or 150,000 miles.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and clearly understand the English language.
- Completion of a seven-year MVR with the application.
- Verification of all periods of employment, unemployment, self-employment, and education for the past 10 years.
- Meet or exceed the medical standards of DOT, including passing a physical exam and drug test.
- Possess a valid Social Security Card.
- No reckless driving violations in the last ten (10) years.
- No suspension of license in the last ten (10) years.
- No moving violations in the last three (3) years, with specific limits on moving violations in the last five (5) years.
- No at-fault accidents within the last five (5) years.
- No failed or refused drug or alcohol tests.
- No felony convictions within the last ten (10) years from the time restitution was completed.
