The Local Class A CDL Hazmat Owner Operator position focuses on transporting containers locally in Houston and surrounding areas. This role offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, ensuring drivers are home every night with no weekend work required. The compensation structure is highly attractive, with top earners making between $166,400 and $260,000 annually, receiving 80% of each completed load, and payments made weekly via direct deposit.

Responsibilities

• Transport containers locally in Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and provide updates on load status.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each load.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Class A CDL license.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Container drayage experience.
• TWIC card required.
• HAZMAT endorsement required.
• Minimum of 3 years CDL experience.
• Smartphone for communication purposes.
• No more than 2 minor traffic violations; no major violations.
• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes.
• Ability to read and translate to English.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
