Class A Fuel Tanker Driver

About the position

The Class A Fuel Tanker Driver position at Gemini Motor Transport involves operating trucks to load and deliver fuel and commodities to various customers, including Love's Travel Stops. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with regulations, and professional conduct while driving and interacting with customers. Drivers are expected to work a set schedule with night shifts and are compensated competitively with additional bonuses and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Drive defensively and follow all applicable laws and regulations to maintain safety standards.
• Load and deliver fuel and commodities to Love's retail and third-party customers.
• Comply with federal, state, local, and company rules regarding hazardous cargo transport.
• Maintain contact with logistics as needed.
• Complete electronic logs and necessary documentation as required by the company.
• Follow company guidelines regarding professional conduct with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of verifiable over-the-road driving experience or certification from an accredited truck driving academy.
• Knowledge of all applicable DOT and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Possession of a Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements (HazMat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples).
• Ability to qualify physically and obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
