About the position

This position is for a Class A Local Dedicated Intermodal Truck Driver based in Shawnee, KS. The role involves picking up and dropping off containers along the railways, with a focus on short hauls. Drivers will work 12-hour shifts starting at 6 PM, with the opportunity to be home daily and enjoy two consecutive days off each week. The job requires a valid CDL A license and at least three months of delivery experience in the past year, excluding school time.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and drop off containers along the railways.
• Perform drop & hook operations with no touch freight.
• Handle live load/unload as required.
• Work Sunday through Thursday with Friday and Saturday off.
• Complete 3-5 loads per day, averaging $35.02 per load.
• Work 10-12 hours per day, with a pay structure of $1,200-$1,400 weekly.

Requirements

• Must have a valid CDL A license.
• At least 3 months of 53' delivery experience in the past year (not counting school).
• Clean driving record with no incidents in the past year.
• Must live within 50 miles of Edwardsville, KS.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with rail and rail equipment.
• Familiarity with Freightliner Cascadias and Volvos.
