About the position

The Class A Port Driver position is focused on transporting loads to and from the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. This role requires a qualified driver with a minimum of two years of experience and a valid TWIC card. The position is strictly night shift with a pay rate of $28 per hour, and it involves driving a 10-speed manual transmission vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up/drop loads from/to ports of Long Beach/Los Angeles.
• Yard-to-yard delivery to clients and to the warehouse.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Class A driver's license.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience required.
• Must possess a TWIC card.
• Respectful driving record with no issues with the Clearing House.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be enrolled with the Clearing House for random drug tests.
• Background employment verification is required.
