About the position
The Class A driver position involves operating a dry van truck primarily east of I-35, with a focus on no-touch freight. This role offers flexibility in driving style, allowing drivers to choose between a more relaxed or a harder running schedule. The position includes the option for a rider and pet from day one, and drivers can expect to be out for 10-14 days at a time with 2 full days at home.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A truck to transport no-touch dry van freight east of I-35.
- Maintain a clean driving record with no failed DOT drug or alcohol tests.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while driving.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries and returns home.
- Complete pre-employment and random drug testing as required.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license is required.
- Minimum of 12 months of verifiable Class A driving experience in the last three years.
- Maximum of 3 moving violations in the last three years, with no more than one in the last 12 months.
- No reckless driving or major traffic violations.
