About the position
ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL Driver to join their team, providing professional driving opportunities that allow for daily home time. The role focuses on ensuring safe and timely deliveries of building products, while adhering to company policies and regulations. Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of each delivery from the facility to the job site.
- Make both ground and rooftop deliveries.
- Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
- Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely.
- Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with the camera phone system.
- Complete a thorough load check on the truck before leaving the branch, ensuring all materials are secured and compliant with regulations.
- Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unload them.
- Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner.
- Provide the customer with an invoice upon completion of each delivery and collect the due amount on COD deliveries.
- Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading materials as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid CDL - Class B license.
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly, with common cargo being 70-pound bundles of shingles.
- Willingness to work on rooftops.
- Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.

- Experience with box, conveyor, knuckle boom, and/or straight trucks.
