About the position

Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm in North America, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Class B CDL Driver Trainee to join our team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This foundational role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career as a CDL driver. As a Driver Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training to help you acquire your CDL. Upon successful completion of the training, Triumvirate will cover the costs for your CDL certification. Once you achieve your CDL certification, you'll be eligible for a full-time CDL driver position with us. In this role, you will learn under the guidance of our Transportation Manager and an assigned mentor. You will be trained to safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements. Additionally, you will develop an understanding of OSHA and RCRA regulations, as well as Triumvirate's Health and Safety Practices. This position requires a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as a team player. You will also assist in loading and offloading freight and collaborate with the team onsite to complete assigned projects. Responsibilities

  • Learn and mentee under our Transportation Manager & assigned Mentor.
  • Learn to safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Develop an understanding of OSHA & RCRA regulations, and Triumvirate's Health and Safety Practices.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Assist in loading and offloading freight.
  • Collaborate with the team onsite to complete projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 21 years or older
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
  • A positive attitude and the willingness to learn
  • A desire to start a career in Transportation
  • Be willing to soak up a TON of training around health, safety, and best industry practices
  • This is a Safety Sensitive Position
