About the position

Staffmark Drivers is seeking a full-time Local Class B Flatbed Driver to deliver heavy equipment and electrical supplies to local work sites. The role involves operating a Peterbuilt flatbed truck, ensuring load securement, and complying with all relevant regulations. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity for temp-to-hire employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver heavy equipment and electrical supplies to local work sites using a flatbed truck.
• Ensure load securement using straps and chains.
• Comply with company policies and all Federal and State DOT regulations when driving on public streets.
• Work early morning shifts starting at 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds and inspecting equipment.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience within the past 3 years with a Class B license.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) preferred.
• At least 22 years of age or older.
• Valid CDL B license and medical card required.
• No DUI or reckless driving in the past 5 years.
• Steel toe boots required.
