About the position

The Roving Store Worker at the Express is responsible for assisting customers in locating products, ensuring the store is well-stocked, and providing an exceptional shopping experience. This role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and adaptability to meet the operational needs of the facility. The position requires a proactive approach to customer engagement and sales growth through effective merchandising and communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with eye contact and a smile.
• Acknowledge every waiting customer promptly.
• Listen to customer needs and ask follow-up questions.
• Ensure customers have an extraordinary shopping experience.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in conversation.
• Maintain merchandise, signs, and labels on the sales floor.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant job experience may substitute for education.
• Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Able to think quickly to answer customer questions.
• Able to take initiative and possess brand knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store as needed.
• Must have a welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and team members.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
