Classical Pilates Teacher

About the position

Renee Ricca's Pilates™ and Gyrotonic Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Classical/Contemporary Pilates Teacher to join our team. With a legacy of excellence in Pilates training, our studio is proud to be celebrating its 25th year in January 2025. We are looking for a passionate instructor who embodies the principles of the Classical Method and is committed to providing high-quality instruction to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates, with at least four years of teaching experience, and will be able to engage with clients of varying skill levels. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing for both part-time and full-time opportunities, with expected hours of no less than 25 per week. The role requires the ability to teach during evening shifts, morning shifts, and weekends as needed. Our studio is located in a busy area, providing ample opportunity for client engagement and growth. We pride ourselves on maintaining a beautiful studio environment that enhances the teaching and learning experience. Applicants must be willing to relocate to Aventura, FL, before starting work, as this is an in-person position. Responsibilities

• Teach Classical and Contemporary Pilates classes to clients of varying skill levels.
• Provide personalized instruction and modifications to meet individual client needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio environment.
• Engage with clients to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
• Promote the benefits of Pilates and encourage client retention.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of teaching experience in Pilates.
• Strong knowledge of the Classical Method of Pilates as taught by Joseph H. Pilates.
• Ability to teach both group classes and private sessions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Gyrotonic training is a plus.
• Certification in Pilates from a recognized institution.
• Ability to market and promote classes to attract new clients.
