About the position

Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business is seeking a Classified Cyber Security Analyst / Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join the security team in Orlando, FL. This role is critical in supporting multiple programs and requires a comprehensive understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF). The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of System Security Plans (SSP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and information security policies to ensure compliance with RMF guidelines. This position involves acting as a liaison with government agency representatives, including the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) and other internal and external customers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various security disciplines. In this role, you will oversee the compliance of security settings for operating systems, including Windows and Unix/Linux, on classified information systems. You will also be responsible for managing incidents or vulnerabilities that may arise within the information systems and executing the information security continuous monitoring program. Additionally, you will ensure that configuration management policies are adhered to and assess any changes that could impact security authorization. Maintaining required information security certifications, such as Sec+ or CISSP, is also a key responsibility of this position. Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of System Security Plans (SSP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Acting as a liaison with government agency representatives and other external/internal customers.
  • Ensuring the development and implementation of an effective information system security education, training, and awareness program (SETA).
  • Overseeing the compliance of security settings for operating systems on classified information systems.
  • Managing and executing the information security continuous monitoring program.
  • Ensuring proper measures are taken when an information system incident or vulnerability is discovered.
  • Maintaining required information security certifications.

Requirements

  • Ability to author SSPs and maintain authorizations to operate (ATO).
  • Ability to perform technical certifications for systems being presented to the government for authorization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, demanding environment.
  • Knowledge of other security disciplines and their interaction with information system security.
  • Sec+ or equivalent DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Management Level II or III certification, or ability to attain within six months of hire date.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with NISPOM, RMF, DAAPM and JSIG certification and accreditation processes.
  • Experience working with classified information systems.
  • Previous experience working in an SAP / SCI/ Collateral environment.
  • Prior experience as ISSO, or DoD equivalent at an organization of similar size and complexity.
  • Understanding of network concepts and Type 1 encryption devices, such as TACLANE.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity related tools including DISA STIG and SCAP, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Ability to speak in front of large groups of people.
