About the position

The Classified Cybersecurity Analyst position at Northrop Grumman involves performing comprehensive assessments of security controls for information systems within classified environments. The role requires expertise in vulnerability assessments, compliance audits, and the implementation of government policies related to cybersecurity. The selected candidate will work on-site in Redondo Beach, CA, and will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of security measures, supporting certification and accreditation processes, and documenting security plans and audit results.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of management, operational, and technical security controls.
• Conduct compliance audits and vulnerability assessments to evaluate security effectiveness.
• Establish program control processes to mitigate risks and support system certification and accreditation.
• Assist in implementing government policies such as NISPOM and DCID 6-3.
• Document results of Certification and Accreditation activities and prepare system Security Plans.
• Conduct reviews of system audits and monitor corrective actions until closure.

Requirements

• Master's degree with 3 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience; OR an Associate's degree with 7 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma with 9 years of experience.
• Current DOD Top Secret level security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs.
• Active DoD 8570 IAM level II (or higher) security certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security.
• Active DoD 8570 IAM level III security certification.
• Experience with Certification and Accreditation of classified systems and Risk Management Framework.
• Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, DIACAP, NISPOM.
