About the position

The Night Auditor at Clay Brook, Sugarbush Resort, is a full-time, year-round position focused on providing exceptional guest service during night shifts. This role involves managing front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests, and handling various administrative tasks related to guest check-ins and check-outs. The position requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Greeting owners/guests and providing a warm welcome.
• Answering phones and addressing inquiries.
• Checking owners/guests in and out of the resort.
• Providing information about the resort and the Mad River Valley.
• Processing charges for resort products and services.
• Responding to owner/guest needs promptly and courteously.
• Balancing owner/guest accounts accurately.
• Working with the resort's information systems and collaborating with different departments.
• Completing delegated tasks assigned by the manager and following the shift checklist.

Requirements

• Experience at a hotel/front desk is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
• A professional personality is essential for this service role.
• Ability to maintain a friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable attitude while managing multiple demands.
• Availability for a flexible workweek, including holidays and weekends.
• General computer knowledge and experience with cashier/customer service is preferred.
• Previous use of SMS or other reservation systems is a plus.
• Timely and reliable attendance is essential.
