The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all customer information is handled securely and in accordance with established procedures and policies. This position also involves receiving inbound phone inquiries from both internal and external customers, necessitating a professional and efficient delivery of services. In addition to data entry, the CLC Data Entry Clerk must demonstrate strong competencies in technology, particularly in learning and utilizing various banking systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. The role requires excellent time management and organizational skills to meet or exceed service level standards in a production environment. Attention to detail is paramount, as the clerk must accurately read and interpret credit-related documentation while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in customer interactions. Responsibilities

  • Data Entry of loan application information into the loan origination software with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Responsible for following established procedures and policies.
  • Ensure customer information is always secure.
  • Receive inbound phone inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Deliver services professionally and efficiently.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of general office experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency assessment for typing of 50 - 80 words per minute with 98% accuracy.
  • Solid technology abilities, including the ability to learn multiple banking systems and use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong listening and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail and concern for data accuracy.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
