About the position

This position involves supporting a federal government client in achieving climate and clean energy goals through the administration of federal grants. The analyst will contribute to the clean energy transition by managing grants related to building energy efficiency, renewable energy technology, and sustainable transportation. The role requires collaboration in a team-oriented environment, providing program administration, financial tracking, and policy analysis throughout the grants management lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Perform programmatic and project management support services for a program office and senior management.
  • Manage existing and available data to optimize program performance and business functions.
  • Assist in evaluating and identifying relevant business data for federal programs.
  • Compile information using various computer programs to ensure data availability.
  • Provide information in the form of reports, guides, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, public administration, or a related discipline.
  • Five years of relevant experience; a master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.
  • Ability to create presentations using visual data depictions, graphs, and charts.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills; proficiency in a wide range of computer programs and software.
  • Good time management skills to meet deadlines and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass a U.S. federal government background check and public trust clearance process.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in grant management or federal program administration.
  • Familiarity with climate and clean energy policies and strategies.
