About the position

The Clean Energy Transition Cost Effectiveness Strategist at Ameren is responsible for developing and documenting the cost effectiveness strategy for both gas and electric businesses. This role involves leading initiatives that promote best practices through analysis, accountability, and measurement, contributing to Ameren's transformation towards a clean, renewable, and reliable energy portfolio in alignment with state goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage Ameren Illinois cost-effectiveness framework for new clean energy initiatives.
• Retrieve, analyze, and summarize business and economic data to optimize cost effectiveness.
• Participate as a cost effectiveness subject matter expert in regulatory proceedings.
• Lead evaluations of new business models and financial benefits of clean energy technology.
• Support cost-effectiveness evaluations for Smart Grid and DER Integration.
• Provide support for the development and execution of clean energy strategy initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, marketing, or related discipline required.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Seven or more years of relevant experience in costing, strategy, marketing, business management, program management, or data analytics required.
• Experience in the utility business required.
• Three or more years of supervisory or high-level team/project leadership required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in operations in the utility business preferred.
• Formal supervisory experience preferred.
