There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.

At Owens & Minor, we are a critical part of the healthcare process. As a Fortune 500 company with over 50 facilities across the US and 18,000 teammates in more than 90 countries, we provide integrated technologies, products, and services across the full continuum of care. Our customers—and their patients—are at the heart of what we do. Our mission is to empower our customers to advance healthcare, and our success starts with our teammates. This position involves working in a clean room environment where you will be responsible for assembling custom procedure trays accurately. You will learn to identify medical components by description and vendor item number, following assembly instructions to ensure the correct components and quantities are placed into the tray. Visual inspection of components for defects is crucial, and you will verify conformance to specifications, reporting and/or rejecting defective components as per guidelines. Additionally, you will complete prep assemblies within a custom procedure tray and identify the right wrap for the build, proceeding to wrap the tray according to the customer's specified sterile technique. Communication is key in this role, as you will ensure that there is clear communication between the Team Leader and the set-up person before the job is set up, allowing for any special instructions to be provided as needed. You will also be responsible for ensuring that three job orders are ready for the line at all times, verifying the contents of the Device History Record, and making copies of assembly instructions. Proper loading and packaging of products on the machine, inspecting components for visible defects, and adhering to SOPs, GMP, and ISO policies are also part of your responsibilities. This role requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and the ability to read and write in English is essential. You will be expected to meet productivity standards while observing safety and security procedures, reporting any potentially unsafe conditions. If you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply. This position will accept applications on an ongoing basis.
