About the position
The Clean Room Assembler position at Arthrex Manufacturing, Inc. involves assembling, labeling, and packaging medical devices in a clean room environment. The role is crucial for ensuring the production of quality medical instruments that meet customer needs. This is a night shift position, requiring attention to detail and fine motor skills, and offers a sign-on bonus for new hires.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual and fixture assisted device assembly and packaging on medical device components, kits, and convenience packs.
- Place components onto blister trays and die cut restraints.
- Apply labels onto packaging constructs and perform supplemental label application.
- Load and orient unit devices into unit packages and/or automated equipment.
- Conduct daily cleaning, monthly terminal cleaning, and semi-annual terminal cleaning activities in the clean room.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 6 months of manufacturing experience related to assembly and/or packaging of products preferred.
- Experience with technical and mechanical aspects of manufacturing, including operation of packaging equipment, is a plus.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions provided.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook are a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a clean room environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with personal protection equipment (PPE) usage.
