About the position

The Cleaner, Equipment & Parts position at Empire Cat involves cleaning machines, parts, and equipment to ensure they meet company standards. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of equipment used in the rental business, contributing to the overall service quality provided to clients. The position requires adherence to safety policies and procedures while operating various cleaning tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean machines, parts, and equipment following department guidelines and procedures.
• Operate high-pressure water hose and steam cleaner.
• Provide quality-cleaning service to shops.
• Repair and maintain equipment and tools in the work area.
• Work safely at all times and adhere to all applicable safety policies.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Interpret and follow oral and written instructions.
• Submit necessary reports, records, and data.
• Cross train in all areas of the department to provide consistent workflow and coverage.
• Maintain steam guns, cleaning tanks, high-pressure hoses, and all other essential tools.

Requirements

• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Ability to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
• Prefer previous experience in equipment and parts cleaning.
• Prefer previous heavy equipment operation experience.
• Ability to work with hazardous chemicals, solvents, strong soaps, and caustic cleaning chemicals.
