Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare school buildings for daily operations.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors; clean lavatories and kitchens; replenish supplies; empty trash receptacles; dust; change light bulbs.
- Move furniture and boxes as needed.
- Assist with snow shoveling and campus cleanup during inclement weather.
- Assist with special projects when school is not in session, such as painting, floor waxing, washing windows, and replacing ceiling tiles.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of large events.
- Perform heavy lifting and work outdoors.
Requirements
- Familiarity with building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment is preferred.
- Ability to use building cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions.
- Willingness to perform manual tasks.
- Thoroughness and dependability.
