About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at a bar and grill. This part-time position focuses on maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, requiring a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will work independently or as part of a team to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high standards.
• Conduct commercial cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom sanitation.
• Execute floor care duties such as buffing, stripping, and waxing floors to maintain their appearance.
• Maintain equipment and supplies used for cleaning to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Support porter duties by managing waste disposal and maintaining cleanliness in common areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
