About the position

We are seeking reliable and dedicated Janitorial Team Members in the Shawnee, KS area. These roles are essential in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our store locations. The primary duties include cleaning shelves, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness in bathrooms, breakrooms, offices, and the lobby. The Cleaning Associate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are sanitized and presentable, contributing to a welcoming environment for both employees and customers. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions to perform janitorial tasks effectively. The Cleaning Associate will also operate lift equipment and handle pallets with identifying store information as needed. Additionally, the role involves utilizing hand-held radio frequency devices (R.F. Unit) to manage tasks and enter records, ensuring that all cleaning activities are documented appropriately. Maintaining a neat, clean, and hazard-free work area is crucial, and the associate may assist in various departments and locations as required to support store operations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize shelves, floors, bathrooms, breakrooms, offices, and the lobby.
• Perform janitorial tasks as assigned to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• One to three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is beneficial.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily and demonstrate reliable attendance.
