About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities. The role involves various cleaning tasks, porter duties, and assisting with facilities maintenance to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform various cleaning tasks to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness
• Utilize commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals effectively
• Conduct porter duties such as trash removal and restocking supplies
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
• Execute custodial responsibilities including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Proficient in buffing floors to maintain a polished appearance
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks in accordance with safety protocols
• Support residential painting projects when required
• Demonstrate expertise in floor care techniques for different surfaces

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or related roles
• Knowledge of porter duties and facilities maintenance practices
• Familiarity with custodial responsibilities and best practices
• Ability to perform buffing and floor care tasks efficiently
• Experience in industrial cleaning is a plus
• Proficiency in residential painting techniques is advantageous
