About the position
The Cleaning Technician at Sonova is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of Controlled Environment Rooms/Areas (CER/A), laboratories, and other facilities. This role involves following strict cleaning protocols and safety procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the workplace. The technician will work across multiple locations and shifts, performing various cleaning tasks and routine maintenance to support the operational needs of the facilities.
Responsibilities
- Strictly follow all CER quality and safety procedures for cleaning tasks.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning tasks using approved materials and techniques.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors; wipe designated surfaces, walls, doors, and windows.
- Empty trash containers and resupply products in kitchen areas.
- Fill in cleaning/maintenance/environmental logs and take readings from calibrated instruments as needed.
- Keep a safe working environment and adhere to gowning and PPE requirements.
- Learn company policies and participate in ongoing training.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of previous facilities/industrial cleaning experience
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
