About the position

The Proclean Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician is an entry-level role focused on providing exhaust cleaning services for commercial kitchens in various establishments such as schools, restaurants, and hotels. The position involves general kitchen cleaning and equipment cleaning, with training provided for motivated individuals. Technicians work primarily at night, with flexible hours based on customer needs, and are responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning equipment, such as the wet/dry vacuums, high pressure hoses and sprayers. Clean systems to NFPA 96 Standards.
• Take before and after pictures of every job.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to assure the work can be completed during a specified window of time.
• Represent the company with excellent customer service, by clearly and thoroughly communicating with the customer at all times in a professional and respectful manner.
• Maintain van inventory and immediately report any deficiencies of equipment, including vehicles.
• Clean commercial kitchen equipment, including but not limited to stoves, ovens, tables, walk-ins, etc.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and submit it to the office within 24 hours of job completion.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Must be reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to quality work.
