About the position

The Cleaning Technician at Transco Railway Products, Inc. is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of railcar interiors, ensuring compliance with company and customer standards. This role involves working in confined spaces and requires physical stamina and the ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Clean interior of tank and hopper cars in compliance with Tactical Cleaning policies and procedures.
• Inspect clean railcars interiors for compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner and report potential hazards.
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights exceeding 4 feet off the ground with proper PPE and fall protection.

Requirements

• Ability to enter confined spaces wearing movement and sight restricting PPE with limited lighting to clean.
• Able to pass drug screen and physical.
