About the position

The Cleanroom Operator position at eMagin Corporation involves performing production operations in a cleanroom environment, specifically focusing on semiconductor wafer and display products. The role requires adherence to strict safety and cleanroom procedures while working in a rotating 12-hour shift schedule. Operators will be responsible for various manufacturing tasks, monitoring production processes, and ensuring equipment is running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform production operations activities of semiconductor wafer and display products.
• Conduct manufacturing tasks associated with photolithography and thin films deposition.
• Monitor and evaluate production processes and results.
• Assist with set-up, running, and qualification of manufacturing equipment.
• Follow documented standards and report any tool performance or process deviations.
• Ensure tools remain running, loaded, and qualified to run product.
• Meet expected throughput and cycle time targets.
• React flexibly to changing work priorities and demands, including overtime as requested.
• Follow all safety, security, and cleanroom procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom suit for the entire duration of the shift.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience working in a cleanroom is a major plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted.
• Must be dependable and reliable.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree or equivalent certification desirable.
• Experience in manufacturing.
