As a member of the Fixed Income Clearance and Settlement Operations Team, the Senior Analyst will provide operational support for the Government Security and Mortgage Back Security divisions of FICC. This role focuses on trade capture, comparison, netting, and settlement services to the mortgage-backed and government securities market, thus providing operational efficiency to this high dollar value marketplace. A key area of responsibility for the FICC Operations team is the support and preparedness of business resiliency and continuity efforts, cyber security events, and default/liquidity management. In this role, you will complete operational processes by following detailed procedures and job aides while working to understand and master knowledge of the process. You will ensure results meet the established procedures, metrics, and benchmarks while adhering to critical timeframes and managing competing tasks. Additionally, you will align risk and control processes into your day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk. Maintaining a focus on meeting the needs and requests of our clients is essential, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, and resolving issues promptly. Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external partners will facilitate issue resolution, operational improvements, and risk reduction. You will also demonstrate active engagement in meetings, display curiosity to learn and grow, and accept feedback to apply it to your role.

Responsibilities

  • Complete operational processes by following detailed procedures and job aides while mastering knowledge of the process.
  • Ensure results meet established procedures, metrics, and benchmarks while adhering to critical timeframes; manage competing tasks.
  • Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk.
  • Maintain a focus on meeting the needs/requests of clients, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, resolving issues promptly.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate issue resolution, operational improvements, and risk reduction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
