About the position

All Points is seeking a Top Secret Cleared GCCS-J System Administrator to join our team at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining networked UNIX, Linux, and Windows systems to support mission requirements, ensuring system performance, and adhering to security policies.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain networked UNIX, Linux and Windows systems.
• Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
• Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance.
• Maintain system backups and database archives for data recovery.
• Maintain user accounts according to government approved procedures.
• Provide computer support to resolve hardware/software issues.
• Conduct routine hardware and software audits on workstations and servers.
• Implement established security policies.
• Perform proactive and reactive system administration to ensure data and service availability.
• Provide recommendations regarding system performance and capacity planning.

Requirements

• Active US DOD Top Secret Clearance or higher required.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience with a BS degree, or 0-2 years with an MS degree, or 8-10 years with a HS diploma, or 4 or more years of relevant military experience in lieu of education.
• Required Certifications: Sec+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of virtualization concepts and products (VMware).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for user and groups.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of current Microsoft Operating Systems (Server & Workstation).
• Experience with Oracle/Sybase/Postgress database maintenance.
• Experience with Java application servers (Tomcat, JBoss).
