Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer phones in a friendly manner.
• Process cash register transactions for front-end merchandise.
• Assist customers on the sales floor to increase sales.
• Answer routine questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate party.
• Reorder and visually present merchandise to maximize selling opportunities.
• Receive and process payments according to standard procedures.
• Assist in the opening and closing of the pharmacy, including cash handling and deposits.
• Assess customer needs and inform them about available products and services.
• Work with merchandising staff to prepare for sales and promotions.
• Complete assignments in a timely manner and maintain applicable paperwork and records.
• Provide extraordinary customer service and maintain a professional image.

Requirements

• Minimum of six months customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly observant.
• Ability to multitask and possess strong mathematical skills.
• Proven good customer service background.
• Must project a professional image and have a clean driving record.
• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalency preferred.
