About the position

Vulcraft-Nebraska is seeking qualified applicants for a Clerical/Data Entry Clerk position in our Vulcraft Sales Office located in Overland Park, KS. This position will provide essential administrative support to the office, engaging in a variety of functions that are critical to the smooth operation of the sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming bid requests from customers, ensuring that all inquiries are handled promptly and accurately. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. One of the primary responsibilities will be to maintain and organize the bid calendar, which is crucial for tracking deadlines and ensuring that all bids are submitted on time. The candidate will also coordinate out-of-territory quotes, working closely with outside offices to manage these requests efficiently. Additionally, the role involves processing and booking purchase orders received from customers, ensuring that all transactions are handled with precision and care. Customer support is a vital aspect of this position, as the candidate will be expected to answer customer phone calls and provide excellent service to address inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise. Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming bid requests from customers via phone call and email, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Maintain and organize the bid calendar to track deadlines and ensure all bids are submitted on time.
  • Work with outside offices to coordinate and manage quotes for out-of-territory requests.
  • Process and book purchase orders received from customers efficiently.
  • Ensure all customer quotes are sent out promptly on bid day.
  • Answer customer phone calls and provide excellent customer service to address inquiries and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Experience using Microsoft Office.

  • Experience using SAP software.

  • Experience using Bluebeam software.

Benefits

  • Starting Pay: $18.96/hr + Monthly Bonus
