About the position
Hock's Vandalia Pharmacy is seeking a motivated clerk/cashier to manage transactions and provide excellent customer service in the retail section of the store. This full-time position involves handling cash registers, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle transactions with customers using cash registers.
- Welcome customers, answer their questions, and help them locate items.
- Collect payments by accepting cash, check, or credit card payments from customers; making change for cash customers.
- Process payments through the bill pay portal.
- Create an order each day.
- Clean work areas and merchandise.
- Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service.
- Stock merchandise.
