The Clerk - Data Processing position is essential for supporting school personnel in maintaining accurate student records. This role primarily involves data entry tasks related to the master schedule and ensuring the accuracy of various educational records. The individual in this position will assist in developing forms and plans for educational planning, enter staff information into the district-grade reporting software, and maintain the accuracy of staff records within that system. Additionally, the Clerk will be responsible for balancing reports, keying updates, and maintaining student records, ensuring compliance with the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS). The role requires a commitment to staying updated with technology and involves reviewing and correcting data as necessary. The Clerk will also manage files and correspondence for the Principal and Associate Principals, answer inquiries from teachers and other school personnel regarding data processing, and distribute relevant reports and instructional materials. Other duties may be assigned by the Principal or Associate Principals as needed.
