The General Office Clerk position is essential in assisting Southwire Company business units and other staff in the daily management and operations of offices. This role involves various administrative tasks that are crucial for maintaining the efficiency of the office environment. The clerk will be responsible for printing finished goods labels in SAP to support building wire production orders, maintaining blank label inventory based on historical usage, and ensuring the organization and cleanliness of the building wire label room. Additionally, the clerk will assist with receiving paperwork in SAP and input daily scrap for reporting purposes, along with other administrative duties as assigned. Responsibilities

  • Print finished goods labels in SAP to support building wire production orders
  • Maintain blank label inventory for the building wire plant based on historical usage and reorder accordingly
  • Maintain housekeeping and organization of the building wire label room
  • Assist with receiving paperwork in SAP
  • Input daily scrap for reporting purposes
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
  • Good communication skills
