About the position

The Warehouse Clerk position at Electrolux Group is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of inbound loads and outbound customer shipments. This role involves collaboration with various departments and teams to maintain compliance with quality standards and resolve any operational issues. The clerk will utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to generate necessary shipping and receiving documents, while also monitoring merchandise for discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor merchandise received and shipped from the facility, addressing shortages and overages.
  • Log inbound and outbound discrepancies, including wrong products, incorrect quantities, and damages.
  • Prepare routine reports and file shipping and receiving documents to coordinate handling of damaged and defective products.
  • Communicate with the Front Office clerk for office supply orders and manage access to the receiving/loading dock.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support organizational goals and maintain a flexible attitude.
  • Understand the inventory layout and communicate effectively with inbound/outbound clamp operators and carriers for scheduling.
  • Utilize WMS for generating shipping and receiving documents such as pick-lists, putaway lists, load sheets, and outbound BOLs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Shipping/Receiving Office Clerk responsibilities.
  • Operational experience preferred.
  • Understanding of SAP ERP systems.
  • Experience with various Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
