About the position

The Operations Clerk position at NDCP involves general office work and computer data entry, focusing on relaying work assignments, verifying paperwork accuracy, and supporting various operational tasks. This role is essential in ensuring smooth communication and data management within the organization, contributing to the overall efficiency of the operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Receives incoming calls during scheduled shift.
  • Create and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • Relay work assignments to scheduled employees.
  • Process all warehouse manifests to verify accuracy of orders.
  • Research and compile OS&D data (Over, Short, Damaged).
  • Assist with food safety audits and other audits.
  • Collect incoming mail and packages, consolidating them for DCP headquarters.
  • Collect and scan all customer orders, customer pick-ups, 3rd party deliveries, intercompany deliveries, and signed RARs, then email to Finance.
  • Maintain general office files.
  • Perform other finance-related data collection tasks as they arise.
  • Support all areas of operation as deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in an office/operation setting.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact well with employees and customers.
  • PC literate with advanced-level Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of basic finance data functions.
