About the position

As a Warehouse Associate at Aerotek, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory and equipment within the warehouse. This entry-level position involves various tasks such as ordering, maintaining, loading, and shipping materials, ensuring a well-organized work environment, and adhering to safety protocols. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, verifying deliveries, and preparing items for shipment, all while maintaining a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Order, maintain, load, and ship various inventory and equipment.
• Work within the warehouse to keep all inventory and equipment well-organized.
• Unload trucks and verify delivered materials.
• Receive and place orders, keep good documentation and records.
• Ship out various types of materials and load materials onto trucks.
• Maintain a clean warehouse work area.
• Follow directions of the Manager.
• Lift heavy items and equipment up to 75 pounds.
• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for shipment, including assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material.

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse and warehouse distribution.
• Ability to lift heavy items and equipment up to 75 pounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
