About the position

The Clerks Weekend Days position at Aerotek involves performing entry-level tasks in a distribution center, specifically in the hospital or exceptions department. The role focuses on supporting the movement, storage, and packaging of inventory, ensuring efficient order processing and inventory management. Employees will work a structured schedule over the weekend, benefiting from a unique pay structure that allows them to work 36 hours while being compensated for 40 hours, promoting work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Pulling orders and preparing orders for shipment
• Using an RF scanner to pick orders
• Packing orders into boxes for shipping
• Loading and unloading different transport items
• Recording inventory statuses
• Ensuring deliveries properly match purchase orders
• Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock
• Recording location of inventory
• Reporting shortages
• Pulling orders from inventory
• Delivering production materials and supplies where needed
• Staging finished product for final distribution
• Handling and moving merchandise around the premises
• Managing the shipping and receiving of materials within a facility
• Using hand trucks, electric fork jacks, and forklifts to move materials

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50lbs+
• Flexibility in working hours and location within the DC
• Comfortable standing in one spot for the entire shift
