About the position

Clean Harbors is seeking a self-motivated Account Manager responsible for hunting new business while maintaining current accounts. This role focuses on initiating sales in the region, driving leads, and growing underpenetrated accounts, while collaborating with various departments to provide product insights to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new business while maintaining current accounts.
  • Initiate sales in the region with a focus on new accounts.
  • Drive leads and grow underpenetrated accounts.
  • Provide product insight to clientele regarding essential lines of business.
  • Research prospective organizations to identify key customer stakeholders.
  • Coach customer stakeholders and build consensus for Clean Harbor's solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for Corporate Accounts.
  • Deepen existing business relationships and increase account satisfaction.
  • Propose, negotiate, and close profitable revenue opportunities.
  • Communicate account strategy to the marketing team and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and direction to line management and field sales teams.
  • Evaluate customer needs and ensure appropriate service/product delivery.
  • Seek out and develop additional Corporate Accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
  • 5-7+ years in sales and/or sales management for a large distributed, service-focused sales organization.
  • Experience in B2B markets and complex selling processes.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com or similar CRM application.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and WebEx presentations.
  • Ability to influence and cultivate strong internal relationships.
  • Analytical skills and project planning/management experience.
