Responsibilities

  • Manage client matter setup, billing, and collection arrangements for assigned portfolios.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with attorneys and staff throughout the invoicing and collections cycle.
  • Analyze inventory statistics and prepare supporting documentation.
  • Make recommendations based on business strategies.
  • Oversee matter management, including rate structure and time/value accuracy.
  • Track disbursements and monitor client matter budgets.
  • Handle on-account billing and resolve unapplied funds.
  • Manage client trust accounting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business discipline preferred.
  • Minimum three years of specialized billing, collection, or account management experience.
  • Hands-on experience performing complex accounting analysis.
  • Strong financial systems skills (Elite/3E, eBillingHub).
  • Law firm or professional services background with international exposure preferred.
  • Ability to assess information and anticipate issues and outcomes.
  • Ability to prepare accurate, highly detailed work products.
  • Talent for delivering client service through teamwork.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
