About the position

The Sales Client Account Lead Analyst role at Cigna is a pivotal position within the Client and Growth Services organization. This role is responsible for managing a complex book of business, ensuring high-quality client service, and driving customer growth through strategic service plans. The analyst will engage with clients and brokers, provide direction to junior professionals, and utilize their expertise to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction. This hybrid position requires in-office presence 2-3 days a week, fostering collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex book of business and provide direction to junior professionals.
  • Engage externally with clients and brokers to educate on service capabilities and market strategies.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and brokers through day-to-day service.
  • Attend local market client/broker meetings to maintain strong relationships.
  • Keep account team and service leadership informed of account status and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute service improvement and recovery plans to meet client expectations.
  • Perform root cause analysis to mitigate reoccurrence of issues.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of reporting for book of business.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and support team training on service delivery procedures.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to support the region on all issues and initiatives.
  • Lead and participate in projects, collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Influence service partners to drive consistency and best practices across markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least 5-7 years of related experience.
  • Extensive experience in Sales Operations Services and compliance.
  • Experience working on a service support team or project team.
  • Exceptional knowledge of the insurance industry and broker experience.
  • Technical proficiency in Excel and Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
