About the position

The Business and Sales Executive for the Federal Intelligence Community (IC) Client Account Management (CAM) role at AECOM is a high-visibility position focused on driving sustainable growth within the Buildings and Places Business Line. The CAM will lead client relations, market analysis, and strategy development while managing key corporate accounts. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to inspire collaboration across various business lines and to effectively engage with clients in the Washington DC region. The position offers flexibility for primarily remote work schedules and requires a strong understanding of the federal market and consultative selling approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sustainable and reproducible growth with the Intelligence Community.
  • Develop and execute strategic and client account plans to achieve annual targets.
  • Manage client relations and oversee market analysis and strategy development.
  • Coordinate with AECOM leadership to align resources and investments for growth.
  • Establish growth targets and collaborate with various teams to execute strategies.
  • Monitor performance of AECOM team members and lead discussions to resolve client issues.
  • Lead and manage key client relationships and oversee corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Eight years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Professional experience with US Federal government agencies on Architect-Engineering programs, including four years in a leadership role.
  • US citizenship is required due to the nature of the role.
  • Professional experience with consultative selling approaches.
  • Top Secret level security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Twelve years of professional AEC experience with U.S. Federal Government Agencies.
  • Knowledge of AECOM's entire portfolio and willingness to learn.
  • TS-SCI (Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information) clearance is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills and experience with negotiations.
  • CRM (Salesforce) experience is a plus.
